The Role:
This role plays a part in leading new contracting opportunities and driving complex proposals and ongoing programs for a full lifecycle contract management. You will be responsible for managing stakeholder expectation and leading contract standards for the business, from a requirements perspective keeping to specific manufacturing regulations. You will be exposed to this impressive Aerospace company and lead standards to meet expectation where it is needed.
Responsibilities of the role:
- Manage full contract lifecycle from analysis to execution, ensuring alignment with business goals and market compliance
- Lead proposal development and balance pricing, legal, and business risks
- Ensure contracts comply with FAR, DFARS, and internal policies across all stages
- Collaborate with legal, finance, operations, and external clients to align contract terms to meet targets
- Provide strategic leadership in pricing, risk management, and contract performance evaluation.
Skills required:
- Previous experience in a similar position focusing on contract and commercial managing
- Strong behavioural aspects focusing on strategic leadership and leading commercial awareness
- Ability to keep to company and customer standards within audit and to develop compliance for contract specifications, such as internal FARS and DFARS
- Desirable but not essential experience focusing on contract process improvements and proposal workflows, or risk assessment practices
- Stakeholder management and the ability to navigate customer requirements and manage expectation is a strong trait to have
