Pay Rate: £18.00 per hourShorterm Group are working with a well-established and forward-thinking sub-contract manufacturer based in Fareham, specialising in the aerospace and oil & gas industries. They are currently seeking an experienced Grinder to join their team and support ongoing high-quality production work.?? Key Responsibilities:- Operate a variety of grinding machinery including the Ultramat Easy Grinder, along with - - Surface Grinding, Honing, and Lapping processes.- Set and adjust machine offsets to achieve precise and repeatable manufacturing results.- Work with High Tensile and Ultra High Tensile materials to exacting tolerances.- Maintain a clean and orderly working environment in line with company standards.- Complete relevant documentation, such as route cards and inspection records, accurately and efficiently.?? Required Experience:- Experience in precision grinding within an AS9100 Rev D environment.- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and follow detailed manufacturing instructions.- Familiarity with tight tolerance machining.?? Measurement & Inspection Equipment:Confident using:- Micrometers & Groove Micrometers (Metric & Imperial)- Bore Clocks, Surface Testers, Air Gauges- Height Gauges, Plug Gauges, Comparators?
