Our client is a leading a skilled Assistant Production Planner to support their Master Production Scheduler in executing daily and weekly planning and reporting activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth and timely execution of production operations by managing planning requirements for a defined portfolio of customers.

Assistant Production Planner - Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and communicate detailed production plans that align with business and customer requirements.
- Update and manage Work Order timelines in accordance with agreed-upon schedules.
- Administer and support customer-specific supply and demand planning tools, ensuring accuracy and responsiveness.
- Identify and escalate any risks or constraints that may affect production capacity or resource availability.
- Generate and distribute daily and weekly planning reports to support the Master Production Schedule.
- Collaborate closely with the Purchasing Department to ensure timely material availability for planned Work Orders.
- Act as a liaison for critical production issues within Phoenix, expediting actions to prevent delays or disruptions to delivery commitments.
Assistant Production Planner - Requirements:
- Previous experience within a production or materials planning position
- Demonstrated experience using MRP systems and planning tools
- Strong analytical, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
