Our client, a prominent player in the aerospace sector, is seeking an Electronics Technician to join their team on a contract basis. This role is for a period of 6 months, working core shifts. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a background in electronics to contribute to innovative projects within the aerospace industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Assembling, testing, and maintaining electronic components and systems
Troubleshooting and repairing electronic equipment
Reading and interpreting technical schematics and blueprints
Ensuring all electronic systems are operating efficiently and safely
Conducting regular inspections and preventive maintenance tasks
Collaborating with engineers and other technicians to resolve technical issues
Documenting all repair and maintenance activities
Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and advancements

Job Requirements:

Experience in electronics, with a focus on assembly and maintenance
Proven technical skills in troubleshooting and repairing electronic systems
Understanding of technical schematics and blueprints
Proficiency in using electronic testing and diagnostic equipment
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Relevant technical qualifications or equivalent experience in electronics

First 12 weeks rates:

Core days 17.52p/h PAYE Or 20.07 including holiday pay

Overtime over 37hrs 26.28p/h PAYE Or 30.10 including holiday pay

Sundays 35.04 PAYE Or 40.13 including holiday pay

After 12 weeks rates:

Core days 18.05p/h PAYE Or 20.68 including holiday pay

Overtime over 37hrs 27.08p/h PAYE Or 31.01 including holiday pay

Sundays 36.10 PAYE Or 41.35 including holiday pay
