Description
As the Payroll Specialist you will:
- Oversee the processing of payroll in a timely and accurate manner
- Ensure compliance with national payroll policies and regulations
- Manage and resolve issues relating to payroll production
- Coordinate with HR and Accounting departments for payroll data
- Perform routine audits to ensure accuracy
- Generate reports for upper management, finance department, and auditors
- Update payroll records by entering any changes to employee information
- Develop strategies to improve the payroll process
Profile
As the successful Payroll Specialist you should have:
- Previously worked in a similar role and be able to carry out all of the above duties
- Proficiency in payroll software
- Exceptional numerical skills and attention to detail
- Strong understanding of payroll practices and legislation
