We are recruiting for a dedicated and detail-oriented Protective Orders Co-ordinator to support a local police force’s Offender Management Hub in Fareham. This is a vital role supporting their mission to relentlessly pursue offenders, put victims first, and deliver excellence in local policing.

Key Responsibilities

As a Protective Orders Co-ordinator, you will:

  • Champion the use of protective orders across the police force, covering domestic violence, stalking protection, violent offences, amongst others.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, guiding officers and staff through the application and enforcement process.
  • Ensure accurate recording and data quality on police systems including RMS Niche.
  • Proactively identify cases where protective orders are appropriate and support their application.
  • Monitor and escalate breaches of orders, ensuring swift and appropriate action.
  • Deliver training and raise awareness of protective orders across the force.
  • Collate and report on statistical data to support performance monitoring.

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

  • Educated to QCF Level 2 (including English and Maths) or equivalent experience.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage a busy workload.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Experience in a fast-paced office environment.

Desirable:

  • Familiarity with police systems such as RMS Niche, PNC, and PND.
  • Previous experience in law enforcement or criminal justice.
  • This role may suit a retired/former Police/Detective Sergeant, Constable, or Police Staff member.

This is a temporary role, working on a part-time or full-time basis for 6-9 months. The role has a pay rate of £16.71 per hour PAYE.
