Pay Rates

Initial (first 12 weeks):

  • Basic: 14.88 (17.05 inc. holiday pay)
  • Overtime: 22.32 (25.57 inc. holiday pay)
  • Sundays: 29.77 (34.09 inc. holiday pay)

After 12 weeks:

  • Basic: 15.34 (17.57 inc. holiday pay)
  • Overtime: 23.01 (26.36 inc. holiday pay)
  • Sundays: 30.68 (35.14 inc. holiday pay)

About the Role

Our client, a well-established company in the aerospace sector, is looking for a Stores Person to join their team on a PAYE contract basis until June 2026. The role offers a strong possibility of extension depending on project needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receiving, storing, and distributing materials and stock
  • Ensuring accurate stock control and inventory management
  • Maintaining records of stock levels and order inputs
  • Preparing and completing orders for delivery or collection
  • Carrying out regular stock audits and reporting discrepancies
  • Working with other departments to forecast material requirements
  • Keeping stores clean, safe, and organised
  • Complying with health and safety regulations

Requirements

  • Previous experience in stores, materials handling, or stock control
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems and processes
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Competence using computer-based stock systems
  • Physically fit to carry out manual handling tasks
