Our client, a leading retailer, is currently seeking a Service Transition Lead to join their team on a contract basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading the successful transition of new and changing services into the operational environment
- Developing and executing service transition plans in line with IT Service Management best practices
- Collaborating with project managers, service managers, and support teams to ensure smooth transitions
- Managing stakeholder communication and expectations throughout the transition process
- Ensuring all necessary documentation and training materials are developed and delivered
- Identifying and mitigating risks associated with service transitions
- Monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of service transition activities
- Providing continuous improvement recommendations for service transition processes
Job Requirements:
- Experience in IT Service Management, particularly within a retail environment
- Strong understanding of service transition methodologies and best practices
- Proven ability to manage and lead service transition activities
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- High level of proficiency in developing and executing transition plans
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
- Relevant IT qualifications or certifications, such as ITIL, are highly desirable
