Holt Engineering is seeking an experienced Repair Technician for an Electronics manufacturing company in Fareham.
The role involves reviewing and repairing faulty products, including PCB rework and soldering to IPC standards.
Candidates should have PCB soldering experience, knowledge of electronic rework, and ideally hold an IPC 610 certificate.
The position offers a competitive salary ranging from £13.50 to £15.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Applicants are expected to have relevant experience and will enjoy benefits like 25 days annual leave and early finishes on Fridays.

Holt Engineering is currently working with an innovative Electronics manufacturing company based in Fareham,Due to an ever-expanding order book our clients are looking for an experienced Repair Technician.

As a Repair Technician, your role will be to assist in the review and repair of faulty products received by the company.

Duties for the Repair Technician:

Repair and review all products received
Rework of PCB components
Working on SMT, through hole and PCB track repair procedures
Soldering to IPC standards.
Soldering small components.
Soldering with a microscope at times.

To be a successful Repair Technician you must:

PCB soldering experience
Experience in electronic rework and repair
Be able to understand technical drawings
Solder to good standards
Experience in IPC 7711/7721
IPC 610 certificate - beneficial
Good attention to detail and be able to work to tight deadlines

For the successful Repair Technician, you will:

Get a competitive pay structure
Early finish on Fridays

The working hours are:

Monday to Thursday 7:30-16:30 and early finish on Fridays 12:30

Paying between 13.50-15.00 ph (depending on experience)
