Our Client are a growing main contractor business based in Central London with a group turnover of 100million and looking to further grow their business in 2025. As a brand they have over 30 years experience within the industry and specialise in new build projects for retail, leisure and hotel schemes ranging from 500k - 50million. With a great core business in their London office they are now looking to a hire a an Estimator to support their Pre Construction Director.
Responsibilities
- Work with senior estimators to prepare accurate cost estimates and budgets for new build projects.
- Review and understand project plans, specifications, and related documents.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to gather pricing and information.
- Maintain a detailed database of historical cost data for future reference.
- Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits to better understand project requirements.
- Help prepare and submit tender documents in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Familiarity with construction costs, materials, and processes is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the construction estimating field.
