Role Overview

We're looking for a Business Development Manager to take charge of key vendor relationships, driving engagement and expansion while achieving aggressive revenue and profitability goals. If you have a strong track record in business development, vendor relations, and team leadership, we want to hear from you!

Experience with the below vendors is essential:

  • Laptops & Servers: Dell, HPE, Aruba, Thomson
  • Printers & Consumables: Canon, Epson, Schneider, Vertiv
  • Huawei & Networking/Security: Holowits, xFusion, Avaya, Extreme Networks
  • Server & Storage: Hitachi Vantara, NetApp, Nutanix, Super Micro

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute an annual business and financial plan with clear revenue and growth targets.
  • Oversee budget adherence and ensure profitability, cash flow, and gross margin targets are met.
  • Manage vendor relationships, ensuring contractual commitments are upheld and continuous growth is achieved.
  • Lead and mentor a team, ensuring they have the tools and training needed to succeed.
  • Ensure successful sales and marketing activities, optimized inventory, and efficient time-to-market for resources.
  • Drive the sales forecast process, improving accuracy and generating predictable revenue.
  • Regularly report on market trends, vendor performance, and competitive landscape.
  • Maintain a strong focus on partner loyalty, marketing, and lead generation activities.
  • Annual business and financial plans with monthly milestones.
  • Regular sales and inventory forecasts.
  • Partner and vendor activities to drive growth and loyalty.
  • Marketing campaigns to generate awareness and leads.

Key Performance Indicators

  • Market share growth
  • Revenue and gross profit
  • Vendor milestones and business rebates
  • Days Sales Outstanding (DSO)
  • Days Sales of Inventory (DSI)

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
  • Relevant vendor certifications (within the last 3 years).
  • 5+ years of experience in vendor or distributor management.
  • Proven ability to build teams, mentor, and collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Previous experience with the listed vendors (Avaya, Canon, Dell, HPE, Huawei, and others).
