Brazer - Farnborough

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established Aerospace manufacturing customer based in Farnborough, who are seeking a Brazer to join their high performing team. The company is a leading supplier of precision components and assemblies, including pipework, ducts, and fasteners, to OEMs and Tier 1s across Aerospace sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Layout, pre-clean, and prepare components for brazing across a range of materials.
  • Assemble tube components using appropriate equipment, tools, and knowledge of material characteristics.
  • Perform brazing operations using various brazing sets, fixtures, and techniques to meet customer drawings and specifications.
  • Select correct brazing wires and fluxes, ensuring all equipment is calibrated prior to use.
  • Support associated cleaning processes, including operation of the boiling-off tank.
  • Work in accordance with the production Work To List, ensuring adherence to "start" and "finish" dates for assigned operations.
  • Uphold company standards for Health & Safety and 5S workplace organisation.
  • Accurately complete batch cards and update BDE records in line with company procedures.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience within a manufacturing environment, preferably Aerospace.
  • Familiarity with ISO9001 / AS9100 quality standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality and process efficiency.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high quality standards.
