- Lead the design and development of robust, production-ready electrical systems
- Take full ownership of tasks such as wiring up drive motors, integrating brake controllers, and delivering functional systems from schematics
- Create and maintain detailed design documentation (schematics, test plans, BoMs)
- Collaborate closely with mechanical, software, and test teams for integrated development
- Support in fault diagnosis, testing and system validation
- Optimise designs for manufacture by engaging with internal procurement, production, and quality teams
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to technical reviews
- Degree in Electrical Engineering (or similar technical discipline)
- Minimum 4–5 years’ experience in electrical design for complex machinery or systems
- Solid understanding of electrical integration and confidence in developing systems without supervision
- Familiarity with communication networks (e.g. CANbus)
- Experience with harness design, wiring, and system-level testing
- Ability to read, troubleshoot, and build from technical diagrams
- Hands-on mindset with a proactive and problem-solving approach
