We are looking for an experiencedEnvironmental Engineerto join our team in Teesside. This role is with a global EPC, on a part time nine month contract outside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide environmental engineering support during the FEED phase of the project.
- Assist with permitting processes and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
- Support environmental management activities for a COMAH-regulated site.
- Advise on environmental risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with project teams to integrate environmental considerations into engineering and construction plans.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and stakeholders as required.
- Contribute to documentation and reporting for environmental compliance.
- Support documentation control and planning team coordination as required.
Requirements:
- Degree in Environmental Engineering or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in environmental management and permitting within industrial or COMAH sites.
- Familiarity with UK environmental regulations and compliance standards.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
