We are looking for an experiencedEnvironmental Engineerto join our team in Teesside. This role is with a global EPC, on a part time nine month contract outside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide environmental engineering support during the FEED phase of the project.
  • Assist with permitting processes and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Support environmental management activities for a COMAH-regulated site.
  • Advise on environmental risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with project teams to integrate environmental considerations into engineering and construction plans.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies and stakeholders as required.
  • Contribute to documentation and reporting for environmental compliance.
  • Support documentation control and planning team coordination as required.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Environmental Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in environmental management and permitting within industrial or COMAH sites.
  • Familiarity with UK environmental regulations and compliance standards.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
