About the Role

Trevett Services are seeking a skilled and qualified DaysElectrician to join a dedicated site team at a commercial data centre in Farnborough. This role involves providing comprehensive electrical maintenance, repairs, and support within a critical environment, ensuring the safety, reliability, and compliance of all electrical systems.

You will be responsible for planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, fault-finding, and small-scale installations, while maintaining accurate records and collaborating with site management and other trades to ensure seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve electrical faults efficiently.

  • Upgrade lighting systems to LED across the site.

  • Perform electrical maintenance, inspections, and repairs on commercial systems.

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance and respond to reactive maintenance requests.

  • Ensure all electrical works comply with current regulations and safety standards.

  • Maintain detailed records of work performed and any remedial actions.

  • Collaborate with site management and other trades to support smooth operations.

  • Work independently and follow safe working practices at all times.

Requirements

  • Recognized electrical qualifications, e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent.

  • City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing qualification.

  • Proven experience working as an electrician in a commercial or critical environment.

  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.

  • Sound understanding of health and safety practices and electrical regulations.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.

  • Confident, calm under pressure, and proactive in problem-solving.
