This well-established, local legal firm based in Camberley is looking for an experienced Legal Cashier to join their team. Legal Cashier - About The Role

In this role you will be reporting into the Directors of the business and will be solely responsible for the company’s finances. You will also be required to support with other daily responsibilities for the firm.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Processing client payments and receipts accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain and reconcile client accounts, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly
  • Drafting of completion statements on client matters
  • Maintain and reconcile the firm's office account
  • Handle accounts payable tasks, including processing invoices and managing supplier payments
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports as required by management and the firm's accountant
  • Ensure compliance with legal regulations and internal policies regarding financial transactions
  • Ability to resolve any discrepancies or queries related to financial matters
  • Working with colleagues in the initial on-boarding of clients

The successful Legal Cashier will have:

  • Previous experience in a similar position
  • Experience of using LEAP and Xero software would be an advantage
  • Experience of working in the legal industry
  • Ability to communicate at all levels
