Our client is a leading organisation in defence, working closely with the UK MOD on simulation standards, interoperability, and military training solutions. They are seeking an experienced Simulation Systems Architect to lead the design, development, and integration of defence simulation systems, helping to shape national security capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop simulation and modelling solutions using standards like HLA and DIS
  • Provide technical guidance and support to stakeholders
  • Lead the architecture and delivery of complex simulation systems
  • Collaborate with engineering teams and clients, primarily on-site in Salisbury

Requirements:

  • Experience in defence simulation systems development or architecture
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Strong understanding of simulation standards and systems engineering principles
  • Security clearance (SC or higher) is essential

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of defence modelling standards and interoperability frameworks
  • Experience with SysML, TOGAF, or related architecture tools
  • Familiarity with the land training domain and military simulation practices
