Role Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and applying high-quality paint finishes to a range of aerospace products. Working to strict standards and specifications, you will ensure that all surfaces are finished to the highest levels of accuracy and consistency.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare product surfaces through sanding, cleaning, and masking.
- Apply undercoats and topcoats using a variety of application techniques.
- Mix and thin paints in accordance with technical specifications.
- Conduct visual inspections to verify quality and finish uniformity.
- Maintain compliance with company procedures and client standards.
- Ensure proper care and basic maintenance of painting equipment.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
About You
- Proven experience in paint finishing, ideally within aerospace, automotive, or precision manufacturing.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Familiarity with various paint types and application methods.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and work instructions.
