Air Export Operator

We are seeking an experienced Export Clerk (Airfreight) to join our busy and growing team in Farnborough. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly organised and proactive freight professional with at least 3 years of experience in air export operations within a freight forwarding environment.

You'll play a key role in coordinating export shipments, handling documentation, and ensuring compliance with global freight procedures - all while delivering exceptional customer service to our internal and external clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day export operations including air, road, courier, and some sea freight bookings
• Liaise with carriers, agents, customers, and warehouses to arrange collections and resolve queries
• Produce and process export documentation: MAWB, HAWB, NES entries, LC documents, COO's, EUR1s, ATRs, ATA Carnets
• Complete customs entries with a strong understanding of UCRs, MUCRs, CPC codes
• Maintain accurate data entry and manage internal systems for export bookings
• Raise invoices and dispatch transport documents to clients
• Coordinate with the wider team to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery
• Provide first-class client support and proactively handle any shipment issues

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 3 years' experience as an Airfreight Export Clerk
• Solid understanding of export documentation and customs procedures
• Experience with NES entries and consular documents
• Knowledge of dangerous goods handling (by air)
• Excellent organisation, attention to detail and time management
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Confident working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines
• A genuine team player with a customer-first mindset
• 100% office-based - no remote working
