Conveyancer - Farnborough - Established FirmA well-established and respected law firm in Farnborough is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join its long-standing property team. This opportunity has arisen due to the planned retirement of a senior conveyancer, following a distinguished career of over 40 years in the legal profession.The successful candidate will take over an active and varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters and join a department known for its expertise, continuity, and commitment to making the moving process as smooth and stress-free as possible for clients.The RoleThe role will cover a full range of residential property work, including:
- Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Transfers of equity
- Remortgages
- Buy to let transactions
- Shared ownership
- Equity release
- Auction sales
- Option agreements
- Adverse possession claims
There is also scope to be involved in property development matters, such as:
- Purchasing development land via conditional contracts or option agreements
- Section 106 agreements
- Acting for local builders and private clients selling land for development
- Handling subsequent sales of freehold and leasehold plots
The Ideal CandidateThe firm is looking for a conveyancer who:
- Has 5+ post-qualification experience in residential conveyancing.
- Can handle residential conveyancing transactions independently
- Is practical, well-organised, and attentive to detail
- Offers excellent client care and communication skills
- Enjoys being part of a close-knit, experienced team
