Prospero Teaching are partnered with a forward-thinking secondary school in Farnborough, Hampshire, who are recruiting an English Teacher from September 2025. The school has a reputation for fostering creativity and high achievement across its departments, with English being at the heart of its curriculum. They are looking for a motivated and inspiring classroom practitioner who can make a real difference. Both ECTs and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply.
CONTRACT DETAILS
- Location - Farnborough, Hampshire
- Position - Teacher of English
- Contract or position start date - September 2025
- Duration / Likely Duration - Permanent
- Full time/part time - Full time
- Minimum rate of pay - Paid to scale
- Hours - 8:30 am - 3.30pm, plus parents evenings and department meetings.
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
- QTS or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year English teaching experience in the UK
- Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references that cover the last 2 years
