- Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with a range of SEND, including autism, learning difficulties, and complex needs.
- Assist students with personal care when required, ensuring dignity and respect at all times.
- Support the development of communication, social, and independence skills.
- Collaborate with teaching staff, therapists, and families to support student progress.
- Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
- Previous experience working with young people with SEND is essential.
- Comfortable and trained (or willing to be trained) to provide personal care.
- A calm, empathetic, and proactive approach.
- Ability to build positive relationships and support individual learning needs.
- Experience working with post-16 learners or in a college/sixth form setting.
- Knowledge of EHCPs, autism strategies, or communication aids.
