Are you passionate about customer service? Do you enjoy a dynamic work environment? Can you see yourself making a difference in the construction industry? We are currently looking for a Trade Store Assistant to join our busy team in Farnborough.
As a Trade Store Assistant, you will be at the forefront of customer interaction, serving clients at the Trade Counter with a smile while handling cash and card transactions with precision. Your role will include picking goods for customer collections, maintaining a tidy and well-stocked Trade Counter, and ensuring the cleanliness of the store and warehouse. You will also support the Trade Store Manager with stock control, check off deliveries, and assist in stock takes while adhering to all Health and Safety policies. Flexibility is key, as you may be required to take on additional tasks as directed by the Trade Store Manager.
Hours of Work:Monday to Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Trade Store Assistant Requirements:
- Construction Industry Experience would be an advantage
- Full Clean Driving Licence is essential due to our same day' delivery commitment
- Counterbalance Forklift Licence is desirable (training will be provided after successful completion of your 3 month probation period)
- Strong interpersonal teamwork and collaboration skills with Safe Handling Awareness
- IT Literate
- Previous face-to-face customer service experience with strong communication skills
Trade Store Assistant Benefits:
- Salary: £29,000
- 22 days holiday as standard, with potential to increase after long-term service
- Excellent bonus scheme based on store performance (eligible after successful completion of you 3 month probation period)
