Frimley

A leading business in Frimley are seeking the right individual to join their manufacturing stores team as a team member where you will have a multi-role of stores duties, forklift duties and driving duties around the local area. You will be joining a warm and friendly team, where training opportunities and development opportunities are available.

Essential background needed for this role

  • Confident and happy to drive vans including flat bed
  • Full clean driving licence
  • Demonstrable experience of working manufacturing stores environment
  • Stock management experience (i.e. booking in and out of parts)
  • Experience of strapping and securing loads
  • Ability to use ERP/MRP systems

Your daily duties will include:

  • Picking production kits of parts for manufacturing to schedule & date
  • Movement of production kits of parts to relevant build area
  • Stock location and relocation of all parts, maintaining traceability and location control at all
  • times
  • Regular stock level checks and stock query/discrepancy resolution
  • Stock rotation
  • Putting items into stock when released by Goods In
  • Using traceability system when picking or putting items away
  • Work to works order 'due by date’ deadlines/schedules
  • Safely loading vehicles with goods for delivery to local sub-contractors
  • Delivery & collection of goods & paperwork, ensuring the right parts go to the right place
  • Ensure use of the driver log when using any vehicle
  • Assist with general forklifting duties
  • General vehicle maintenance, including fluid level checks and tyre pressure checks.
  • General forklift maintenance, including battery electrolyte levels and hydraulic fluid levels
  • Use of the traceability system when picking or putting items away.
  • Adherence and compliance to ISO standards and Health and Safety requirements
