Private Client Tax Advisor – Top 40 Firm | Farnham | Hybrid + Flexible Working | Career Development

TPF Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a highly regarded and fast-growing Top 50 accountancy practice in their search for a Private Client Tax Advisor. As they continue to expand, a new opportunity has arisen for a Private Client Tax Advisor to join their Farnham office. This full-time, permanent role offers hybrid working, flexible hours, and clear development pathways.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients, ensuring compliance with HMRC and internal deadlines

  • Preparing and submitting self-assessment tax returns and P11Ds

  • Advising clients on tax liabilities and payment schedules

  • Handling HMRC correspondence and client queries

  • Supporting Partners with technical queries and business development

  • Mentoring junior staff and contributing to knowledge sharing across the team

  • Assisting with the preparation of technical reports (income tax, CGT, IHT)

  • Taking part in client meetings and building lasting relationships

RequirementsWhat We’re Looking For
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a UK accountancy practice

  • ATT qualified (or studying towards), with some accounts exposure preferred

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage deadlines

  • Strong Excel and general IT skills; quick to learn new systems

  • Professional, proactive, and a strong team player
