Our client, a growing top 40 accountancy practice has a fantastic opportunity for a Group Compliance Analyst to join their Compliance team.

This is a permanent full-time or part-time role with hybrid and flexible working options. This role will involve travel to a number of the firm's offices.

If you have UK regulatory experience gained within a practice environment (legal or accountancy) or in a regulatory team at a regulatory body (e.g. ICAEW, ICAS or ACCA) we would love to hear from you.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Helping to develop and roll-out a company-wide Compliance and Risk strategy
  • Facilitating and organising training and communication on compliance matters.
  • Preparation of regulatory applications to ACCA/ICAEW or other regulatory bodies for all new acquisitions
  • Reporting
  • Provide advice and guidance on compliance related queries
  • Assist with updates to regulatory policies on a timely basis
  • Update firmwide risk assessment and policies and procedures
  • Understand GDPR requirements and apply accordingly
  • Assist with maintaining relationships with professional bodies
  • Assist with drafting new regulatory guidelines for the company and with the implementation of new regulatory requirements
  • Actively be involved in Group project work

More about you:

  • UK regulatory experience gained within a practice environment (legal or accountancy) or in a regulatory team at a regulatory body (e.g. ICAEW, ICAS or ACCA) is essential for this role.
  • You will have a good base knowledge of CDD and AML, processes as well as complex group structures.
  • You will be self-motivated, keep abreast of the latest industry trends and regulatory requirements.
  • A UK driving licence to meet the need to be able to travel to all the firm's offices
