Role: Mechanical Fitter / Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am till 4:30pm (7:00am till 12:00pm on Fridays)
Salary: 42,000 to 45,000 per annum, plus benefits and further training and up-skilling opportunities to be sent away on training courses, 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays, life assurance and pension (8%)
Location: Commutable from Camberley, Aldershot, Farnham, Farnborough, Bracknell, Guildford and surrounding areas

We are actively recruiting for a Mechanical Fitter / Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to work within a small and well established company. You will benefit from opportunities to enhance your learning and growth by taking advantage of the internal and external training on offer, to become a better and more rounded Engineer. It is to work in a small team of 2 Engineers completing planned maintenance, responding to breakdowns and complete various projects and installation work. It is varied, fun and enjoyable. Over the next 18 months, there are a lot of new projects in the pipeline it's an exciting time to join!

The Role

Responsibilities include undertaking planned maintenance, reacting to breakdowns, delivering equipment upgrades, new installations and infrastructure changes, together with building maintenance as & when required.

Anyone with manual machining knowledge and/or experience to help make up parts would be advantageous but not essential as training will be provided.

Requirements

A background in Maintenance engineering in any environment, such as manufacturing, production, industrial, facilities, FMCG, building services or similar type production/manufacturing environments.
Have completed a recognised mechanical engineering apprenticeship or hold mechanical engineering qualifications ie. NVQ or C&G Level 3 in mechanical or similar
Having experience and skills across SOME of the following; motors, belts, bearings, chains, gear boxes, pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, turning, milling, manual machining, welding, fabricating
Great attitude with the genuine desire to settle and be part of a great small team
Highly adaptable and happy to turn their hands to all areas
