Due to rapid growth, this top 50 accounting firm in Farnham is looking for a Trainee Company Secretary (CoSec) to join their team in June 2025.

What is a CoSec?

A Company Secretary holds one of the most important and strategic positions within an organisation.

They play a vital role in managing corporate administration, liaising with clients, and ensuring that businesses comply with legal, regulatory, and governance obligations.

It's rare for CoSec roles to be available at a graduate or trainee level, making this role a unique opportunity in the sector.

What would I be doing?

  • Client Liaison: Communicate with clients to collect vital documentation and keep processes running smoothly - your input will be crucial.
  • Accounts Preparation: Get an introduction to financial reporting by preparing dormant accounts for filing at Companies House.
  • Manage key statutory records: using cutting-edge software, helping companies stay compliant and organised.
  • Compliance Champion: Take ownership of preparing and submitting CS01 forms and PSC registers, ensuring deadlines are met and companies remain in good standing.
