An integral role within the Accounting & Finance department, the Finance Manager will be responsible for managing financial operations and providing strategic financial planning and support to the team. The role demands a strong understanding of finance management with a focus on cost control, budgeting, and financial reporting.

Description

  • Oversee the financial operations of the organisation. (Reporting to the Directors)
  • Develop and monitor budgets, and implement cost control measures.
  • Present financial reports and business forecasts to senior management.
  • Produce Management Accounts and liaise with the external Accountants when required.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Work with other departments to identify financial trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and manage internal controls.
  • Provide leadership and support to the finance team.

Profile

A successful 'Finance Manager' should be:

  • CIMA / ACCA Part Qualified / QBE
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and leadership abilities.
  • Good communication skills and able to work with key stakeholders.
  • Experience of Xero sotware would be beneficial
  • Experience in an SME Environment.
  • Some Supervisory experience
