Daily Responsibilities:

  • Day to day running of production packing line as smoothly
  • Follow the Compliance and Health & Safety Rules
  • Start up checks for the line.
  • Prepare and set up the line efficiently.
  • Collect packaging and labels from the packaging store, and ensure the QC checks all labels & packaging
  • Work closely with picker/packer
  • Complete all paperwork
  • Ensure additional food & packaging is ordered when required
  • To ensure QC’s are completed
  • Ensure all packaging is removed from the line at the end of each job and returned to the packaging department and line is clean.
  • Report to the Packhouse Manager
  • Ensure all orders are completed.
  • Paperwork is legible and completed in full.
  • Ensure that all unused packaging is returned .
  • Ensure the packing line and staff are compliant with Hygiene standards.
  • Daily reports - P&L, downtime, rejection and overtime reports

Requirements

  • Previous experience within Operation/Production/Warehouse
  • Previous experience within the food industry
