Thrive Personnel Ltd are currently recruiting Beam Saw Operatives for our client a leading manufacturing business based in Featherstone.

The Beam Saw Operative will be responsible for operating and maintaining beam saw equipment to cut materials according to specifications, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in a production environment.

Responsibilities:

Operate beam saw equipment to cut materials according to work orders and specifications.

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and cutting lists.

Set up and adjust beam saw equipment for different materials and cutting patterns.

Monitor the cutting process to ensure accuracy and quality.

Perform routine maintenance on beam saw equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.

Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards.

Adhere to safety regulations and company policies.

Assist with material handling and storage.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications:

Previous experience operating beam saw equipment in a production environment is preferred.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and cutting lists.

Knowledge of different materials and their cutting requirements.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to perform basic equipment maintenance.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to lift and move heavy materials.

Working Conditions:

This is a weekend shift position, 6am - 6pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The work environment is a production facility with exposure to noise, dust, and machinery.

Must be able to stand for extended periods
