Preconstruction Manager required in Essex

GVR Solutions are currently representing a growing and very well-established Main contractor, based in Essex, who are actively in the market for an experienced Preconstruction Manager to join their Pre-con team.

As a main contractor they work heavily in the Education, Commercial and Healthcare sectors on a range of Construction, Refurbishment and Fit out projects. This role would suit a Preconstruction Manager who has experience working within Framework contracts.

Preconstruction Manager duties:

  • Working alongside the Estimating, Bid Coordination and Project Management teams
  • Reporting to the Commercial Director
  • Project Planning & Feasibility
  • Budgeting & Cost Estimation
  • Scheduling
  • Design Coordination
  • Bid Management
  • Permitting & Compliance
  • Client Communication

Requirements for the Preconstruction Manager:

  • Previous experience working on Framework contracts
  • Proven experience working within the Healthcare, Education and Commercial sectors
  • Proven experience working on Construction and Refurbishment projects
  • Excellent technical understanding of early-stage construction methodology
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to read technical drawings and provide practical input to design
