Reed Accountancy are delighted to be partnering with a logistics firm in Felixstowe to recruit an Accounts Assistant to the team. This is a full time, permanent position.Â
Main responsibilities:Â
- Production of the daily/weekly reports related to customer accounts
- Liaising with the customs operations managers to ensure the accuracy of billing reports
- Liaising with the customs team and 3rd parties to close any discrepancies
- Liaising with contract logistics team for any relevant cross charges
- Raise and log any credit notes required in line with KPIs
- Supporting the wider Customs business with any ad hoc tasks
- Manage the monthly duty deferment statement dossier reconciliations
- Send invoices to customers in line with their business AP requirements
- Assist with supplier account set-ups
- Ecommerce key account billing and reconciliations
- Support credit control team with outstanding account balances
- Raising Customer invoices.
