A client of ours in the Felixstowe area are recruiting a Senior Sales Executive to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm and paying 40,000 - 55,000 per annum depending on experience.
Key Duties include but are not limited to:
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities
- Generate business leads by reaching out to potential clients within the existing database
- Collaborate proactively with customers and the business development team to address client needs
- Promote additional products and services to existing clients (upselling)
- Document and report the results of sales activities and lead conversions
- Prepare, present, and follow up on quotations and sales inquiries
- Consistently work towards achieving daily, weekly, and monthly performance targets
Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Senior Sales Executive position:
- 5+ years previous experience in outbound calls or related sales position
- Proficient within the Microsoft packages and CRM systems (hubspot preferred)
- Sales experience within the freight, logistics distribution and supply chain industry is essential ideally within Ocean/Road/Air shipments
- Ability to build relationships with clients
- Excellent communication skills
- Confident in cold calling
