A client of ours in the Felixstowe area are recruiting a Senior Sales Executive to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm and paying 40,000 - 55,000 per annum depending on experience.

Key Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities
  • Generate business leads by reaching out to potential clients within the existing database
  • Collaborate proactively with customers and the business development team to address client needs
  • Promote additional products and services to existing clients (upselling)
  • Document and report the results of sales activities and lead conversions
  • Prepare, present, and follow up on quotations and sales inquiries
  • Consistently work towards achieving daily, weekly, and monthly performance targets

Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Senior Sales Executive position:

  • 5+ years previous experience in outbound calls or related sales position
  • Proficient within the Microsoft packages and CRM systems (hubspot preferred)
  • Sales experience within the freight, logistics distribution and supply chain industry is essential ideally within Ocean/Road/Air shipments
  • Ability to build relationships with clients
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Confident in cold calling
