A leading player in the distribution and logistics sector is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join their team in Felixstowe. This full-time role focuses on customer service and bookings, playing a vital part in ensuring smooth and efficient operations within a dynamic port environment.
About the Role:The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer interactions, handling pricing and quotations, and accurately inputting bookings into the traffic office system. This position requires a strong commitment to service excellence and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with customers to deliver outstanding service and resolve inquiries efficiently.
- Accurately manage and input bookings into the traffic office system.
- Prepare and manage pricing and quotations for logistics and shipping services.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing requests and queries promptly.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline operations and enhance service delivery.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-moving environment.
- Previous experience in customer service, ideally within a port or logistics context.
- Familiarity with booking systems or traffic office software is highly desirable.
