Our client has recently relocated to the Port Of Felixstowe, we have a number of vacancies for transport planner roles.Working within the transport office in Felixstowe, you will be assisting in the routing , planning and support of the HGV fleet of vehicles, the drivers and the general operation of the general haulage business.Job description路 Day to day trailer planning (allocating resource and reloading trailers)路 Maintaining haulier relationships路 Working as part of a team with support and guidance路 Maintain and develop a link between customer service and operations路 Dispatch and tracking of trucks & driversSkills and competencies:路 Excellent communication skills路 Experience in similar role or market路 Experience in trucking/haulage industry路 Fluent in English路 Good knowledge of IT systems路 Candidates must be able to demonstrate a basic knowledge in UK geography, driver hours and law, trailer transport, shipping ferry/port knowledge and last but not least UK haulage market.
