A leading organisation based in Felixstowe is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join its team. This is a fully office-based position (with travel to visit customers as required) offering an excellent opportunity to drive growth and expand the company's customer base within the container logistics sector.
The Role
- Develops and grows the existing customer base, with a strong focus on identifying and securing new business opportunities.
- Builds and maintains strong client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Represents the company at client visits, meetings, and industry events.
- Works closely with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer care.
The Candidate
- Has proven commercial experience in the container logistics sector.
- Demonstrates a track record of successful business development and account management.
- Possesses strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Is self-motivated with the ability to work independently and achieve targets.
