Container Transport Planner
Location: Felixstowe, UK
Salary: Up to 40,000 (DOE)
Are you an experience Transport Planner with a background in Container Transport? Are you looking to develop your career for an established and highly regarded International Freight Forwarder? This role could be excellent for you!
Working Hours: Monday - Friday (8:30am - 5:30pm)

Key Responsibilities:
- To schedule and plan day-to-day customer deliveries.
- Liaise with new and existing customers.
- Meet transport legislation commitment.
- Monitor fleet maintenance requirements and liaise with drivers.
- Daily input of KPI's, delivery and collection issues, preparing paperwork.
Requirements:
- Previous Transport Planning Experience.
- Previous experience working for a UK based Freight Forwarder/Road Transport Company.
- Previous experience with Container operations/transport.
- IT and analytical skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
- Knowledge of the WTD, Drivers Hours, Tachograph and Transport legislation.
- Ability to thrive in a busy work environment.
