We’re looking for an ambitious and motivated individual to join a Commercial Support Team focused on developing new opportunities with both existing and prospective clients. Whether the customer has used our services previously or is completely new to them, your role will be to build strong commercial relationships and deliver effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities:-
Actively promote the business and its services to both new and existing clients.

Prepare detailed quotations, proposals, and responses to RFQs for internal stakeholders and external customers.

Ensure that all proposals reflect a sound commercial understanding—striking the right balance between competitive pricing and quality service.

Prioritise leads and opportunities to allow for timely follow-up and conversions.

Identify opportunities to upsell services and contribute to revenue growth over previous years’ performance.

Develop strong knowledge of the air freight product, including both own consolidations and airline partnerships.

Meet regularly with your manager or team leader to review progress, targets, and overall performance.

Share responsibility for managing the team inbox and workflow.
-
Provide accurate pricing for air product quotations and RFQs.

Use internal rate tools efficiently and keep them updated.

Approach all quotations with a results-driven mindset, aiming to maximise conversion rates.

Track and report success rates at agreed intervals.
-
Offer support to branch teams as a subject-matter expert on internal systems and tools.

Proactively follow up with customers via phone, email, or in person as required.

Coordinate with internal departments, suppliers, and partners to optimise cost and profit performance.

Help manage contracts, pricing, and commercial documentation.

Complete reporting tasks promptly and accurately—Excel proficiency is a must.

Use data analysis to spot trends, improve processes, and deliver added value.

Participate in customer service follow-ups and, where needed, join sales meetings or client visits.

Gain working knowledge of other transport modes such as ocean, road, and rail to broaden your solution toolkit.

Preparing and submitting accurate monthly reports (via Smartsheet or similar platforms).

Working closely with the sales, procurement, and management teams to support growth objectives.
