Right Now Group are recruiting for an External Sales Executive on behalf of a leading GSA (General Sales Agent), based near Heathrow.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially focused air cargo sales professional to join a well-established GSA with strong airline partnerships. The role will focus on developing new business and maintaining relationships within the UK freight forwarding community.

The Role: External Sales Executive

As the External Sales Executive, you will be responsible for promoting airline cargo capacity to freight forwarders. You will drive commercial growth by building relationships, identifying new opportunities, and acting as a key link between forwarders and airline clients.

Key Responsibilities - External Sales Executive
  • Sell and promote airline cargo capacity to UK freight forwarding companies.

  • Develop new business and grow existing client relationships.

  • Represent airline partners professionally in the UK market.

  • Gather and share market intelligence, providing regular reports and sales forecasts.

  • Attend client meetings and relevant industry events.

  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure capacity is fully optimised and bookings are accurately managed.

Ideal Candidate - External Sales Executive
  • Previous experience in external sales within air freight, a GSA, or the freight forwarding sector.

  • Strong existing relationships within the UK freight forwarding market.

  • Confident communicator with excellent negotiation and presentation skills.

  • Commercially minded, self-motivated, and target-driven.

  • Able to manage their own schedule and work independently in a fast-paced industry.

What's On Offer - External Sales Executive
  • Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 (including car allowance)

  • Shift: Monday to Friday

  • Hours: Standard office hours

  • Additional Information: Field-based role with regular travel around Heathrow and surrounding freight forwarder hubs.
