Are you passionate about fine food and take pride in attention to detail? We are recruiting for a Luxury Food Packer to join a well-established and wonderful team based near Ashford, Middlesex.

This is a rare and exciting chance to be hands-on with some of the finest gourmet delicacies available in the luxury food industry. You’ll be part of a small, dedicated team of 8, where precision, care, and pride in your work are essential. Due to the nature of the role, it’s essential that applicants do not have any food allergies, as tasting and handling premium ingredients is part of ensuring every product meets our exceptional standards. This is a fairly repetitive role, so you must be happy with this.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carefully weighing, portioning, and packing premium food items to exacting standards
  • Performing visual quality checks and occasional taste testing to ensure peak freshness and consistency
  • Labelling, weighing, recording, vacuum sealing, and preparing items for dispatch
  • Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in a chilled, controlled environment
  • Collaborating with the team to meet daily and seasonal deadlines

Candidate Requirements:

  • A genuine appreciation for fine and luxury foods
  • Excellent attention to detail and pride in delivering high standards
  • Confident with basic numeracy, literacy, and understanding of weights and measures
  • No food allergies due to tasting and handling responsibilities
  • Flexibility, especially during December (peak season)
  • Ideally local to Ashford, Middlesex or surrounding areas
  • A team player with a positive and proactive attitude
