Ocean Import Operations - Heathrow - Feltham | Up to 35,000 DOE
We are working with a well-established global, growing freight forwarder with multiple sites across the UK (10+ locations) to find a new Ocean Import Freight Forwarder for their Feltham office.
The company has a high staff retention rate and have a great reputation for looking after their staff. They have a really strong presence in the market and are unaffected by recession fears or recent US tariffs.
Package:
- 30,000 - 35,000, depending on experience
- 23 days holiday (increasing to 30 with service) plus 8 bank holidays
- Bonus paid yearly

Experience Required:
- Experience in Ocean freight forwarding
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A proactive, solutions-driven approach
- The desire to be part of a company that values its people
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate international ocean import shipments from origin to destination
- Book cargo space with ocean carriers and arrange inland transportation
- Manage and verify all required shipping and customs documentation
- Ensure compliance with import regulations and oversee customs clearance
- Communicate effectively with shippers, consignees, carriers, and customs brokers
- Provide clients with timely tracking updates and shipment visibility
- Assist in arranging marine cargo insurance as needed
- Proactively address shipment issues, delays, or discrepancies
- Coordinate final delivery to consignee, including special delivery requirements
