Position Overview:
The Role
As a Picker & Packer, you’ll play a key role in making sure orders are prepared accurately, packed with care, and ready for dispatch. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment, ideal for someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, and enjoys working as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick and pack wine bottles, cases, and accessories based on customer orders
- Accurately pack wine bottles, cases, and other products based on customer orders.
- Check and label items accurately before dispatch
- Handle stock with care to prevent breakages
- Communicate effectively with warehouse colleagues, supervisors, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and safe
- Assist in loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
Requirements:
. Previous warehouse, picking, or packing experience is helpful but not essential
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work on your feet and handle cases of wine (up to 18kg)
• Reliable, punctual, and a good communicator
• Flexible attitude and willingness to support the team during busy periods
