As a Sociology Teacher (ECT), you will be part of an experienced team committed to supporting early career teachers through high-quality mentoring and CPD. You will teach across KS4 and KS5, with the opportunity to contribute to enrichment activities and PSHE delivery. The department is known for its innovative curriculum and high student engagement.
Sociology Teacher (ECT) Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging Sociology lessons to KS4 and KS5 students
- Work closely with your mentor to complete your ECT induction
- Support students with critical thinking and exam preparation
- Contribute to whole-school culture and extra-curricular events
Requirements:
- PGCE with QTS, ideally in Social Sciences or Sociology
- Strong academic background in Sociology or a related field
- Passion for working with young people and promoting social understanding
