Company Description:
A globally recognised manufacturer is looking to recruit an experiencedProcurement Officerto join their team.
You must have experience of vendor analysis & tendering.
Responsibilities as Procurement Officer:
- Source & select suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery capabilities via vendor analysis
- Manage supplier relationships
- Negotiate contracts & pricing
- Create purchase orders
- Manage supplier performance in line with agreed SLA
- Market Research
- Inventory Management
- Tendering
- Documentation & Reporting
- Liaise with internal stakeholders regarding their procurement needs
Requirements as Procurement Officer:
- Experience in a similar role working on your own / in a very small team
- Vendor Data Analysis
- Advanced knowledge of Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis)
- Presentation skills to present data to senior management
- ERP system knowledge
- Experience with tendering
