We are seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to deliver accredited learning to young people undertaking Maths study programmes, including Functional Skills, GCSE, and A Level, within the offender learning sector. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of young people, guiding them through their educational journey.
Day-to-day of the role:- Deliver high-quality teaching in Maths to students within the offender learning sector.
- Prepare lesson plans and educational materials that meet curriculum standards.
- Assess and evaluate students' progress in Maths study programmes.
- Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests.
- Maintain accurate and complete records of students' progress and development.
- Prepare students for qualifications in Functional Skills, GCSE, and A Level Maths.
- Engage and motivate students, fostering a positive learning environment.
- Possession of a relevant teaching or training qualification (e.g., QTS, QTLS, DTTLS, PGCE).
- Proven experience in teaching Maths at various levels, including Functional Skills, GCSE, and A Level.
- Strong understanding of the mathematical concepts and the ability to convey them effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and inspire young learners from diverse backgrounds.
