We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled High Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our dedicated team based in Hounslow, West London. The successful candidate will support high-quality teaching and learning across the school, delivering lessons under the guidance of teaching staff and supporting pupils to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Plan, prepare and deliver learning activities to individuals, groups, or whole classes as directed.
  • Work closely with teachers to assess pupil progress and contribute to planning next steps.
  • Support pupils with a range of needs, including those with SEND.
  • Contribute to creating a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Provide feedback to pupils and support their social, emotional, and academic development.

Essential Requirements:

  • HLTA status or equivalent qualification. Level 2 English and Maths (GCSE grade C/4 or equivalent) - mandatory for High Level Teaching Asstant status.
  • Proven experience working within a school environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable:

  • Experience leading whole class teaching.
  • Training in behaviour management strategies or specific interventions.
