Due to continued growth, my client are looking for a skilled and flexible LCV Technician with MOT Testing capabilities for Class 4 and 7 to join their team.

Salary of the LCV Technician / Commercial Vehicle Technician / LCV Mechanic / Mechanic / Van Technician / Fleet Engineer / Fleet Maintenance Engineer / Light Commercial Vehicle Technician / LCV Master Technician / Diagnostic Technician / Service Technician / MOT Tester: Realistic Earnings of 45,000 - 50,000 Upwards - Plus Bonus of 6000.00 pa for targets
Hours of the LCV Technician / Commercial Vehicle Technician / LCV Mechanic / Mechanic / Van Technician / Fleet Engineer / Fleet Maintenance Engineer / Light Commercial Vehicle Technician / LCV Master Technician / Diagnostic Technician / Service Technician / MOT Tester: Monday to Friday 40 hour Week - DAY SHIFT
Anything over 40 hours a week paid at x 1.5 overtime and bank holidays paid x 2 overtime
1 in 3 Saturday mornings paid at x 1.5

Working as part of the Light Commercials Team, you will be responsible for carrying out MOT Tests, routine maintenance inspections, servicing, general repairs will also be required at times.
Main duties of the LCV Technician / Commercial Vehicle Technician / LCV Mechanic / Mechanic / Van Technician / Fleet Engineer / Fleet Maintenance Engineer / Light Commercial Vehicle Technician / LCV Master Technician / Diagnostic Technician / Service Technician / MOT Tester:
- Complete Servicing, Repairs and MOTs on customers vehicles in a timely manner
- Detect, diagnose and report any additional faults that require further repair.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and complies with manufacturer and industry guidelines.
- Notify Manager of calibration requirements for MOT bay.
- Ensure that all MOT/Plating documentation is kept up to date.
- Seek clarification from the service advisor if a work order is not clear or seems incorrect.
- Document completed work orders ensuring all hours and materials used are accurately recorded.
- Perform repair work as directed and in accordance with established and documented procedures.
- Conduct routine service work and Ministry of Transport tests as required.
- Check condition and ensure correct maintenance of all tools, equipment and other materials in accordance with company policy.
- Ensure all policies and practices are adhered to in order to maintain the professional reputation of the company.
The LCV Technician / Commercial Vehicle Technician / LCV Mechanic / Mechanic / Van Technician / Fleet Engineer / Fleet Maintenance Engineer / Light Commercial Vehicle Technician / LCV Master Technician / Diagnostic Technician / Service Technician / MOT Tester will be able to demonstrate:
- MOT Tester Certification Class 4 & 7
- Technical and Diagnostic knowledge
- Several years with light commercials is preferred
- Problem Solver and open Communicator
- Safety Inspections
- Routine Maintenance
- General mechanical ability.
