Salary - £16 - £18 p/h

Our client is looking to add to their UK site of their leading, global manufacturing company within the process industry. Due to growth and serious progression, they are looking for an TIG Welder to join the busy team in Feltham.

Key Responsibilities for the TIG Welder

  • Fabricating using tools such as; Press break, Saw, Bender, Guillotine etc. from engineering drawings.
  • Tack and finish TIG weld stainless steel products/tube and box section as well as occasional mild steel work.
  • Must be able to weld thin gauge material.
  • Maintaining a safe and tidy workplace and reporting any faults/hazards, in accordance with Company Health and Safety requirements.

Key competencies for the TIG Welder

  • TIG Welding in Stainless Steel pipe and box section.
  • Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
  • Ability to weld thin gauge materials.
  • Be able to measure and cut materials accurately.
  • Experience of mechanical work (i.e., Drill, Bender, Guillotine etc.).
