Facilities Engineer - Fen End, Warwickshire - Up to £29.82/hr - Inside IR35

Facilities Engineering is responsible for the design, planning, construction, and maintenance of equipment, machinery, buildings, and other facilities.

What You Will Do:

  • Plan, budget, and schedule facility modifications, including estimating costs for equipment, labour, materials, and other related expenses.
  • Oversee building space allocation and layout coordination to optimise efficiency and functionality.
  • Communicate and coordinate services for facilities expansion and maintenance.
  • Establish and oversee health and safety standards to ensure a secure working environment.
  • Manage projects and processes independently, providing guidance and reviewing the work of junior professionals.
  • Tackle complex problems with innovative solutions, ensuring smooth operations and continuous improvement.

What You Will Bring:

  • Proven experience in facilities or infrastructure maintenance, preferably in an automotive, possibly within a Proving Ground or Grounds Maintenance setting.
  • Demonstrated supervisory or leadership experience with strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Comprehensive understanding of mechanical systems and general maintenance principles.
  • Proficiency in maintenance management software and basic office applications.
  • Relevant certifications in Health and Safety, such as NEBOSH General Certificate or IOSH Managing Safely, as well as project management skills like PRINCE2 or PMP.
